In Bobby Hurley’s last game as the head coach at Arizona State, his Sun Devils set a Big 12 Tournament record, and not in a good way.
Hurley’s squad lost to seventh-ranked Iowa State 91-42, the most lopsided loss in conference tournament history, surpassing Colorado’s 43-point loss to Texas in 2000.

After the game, the former Duke star point guard talked about his future.
“I’m not sure what’s going to happen. I don’t know. I have not spoken about my future next year,” Hurley said. “But I don’t have any regrets. I laid it out all on the line to the best that I could every night. And I did it until the last buzzer sounded.”
The Sun Devils turned the ball over 23 times and shot an eye-popping five percent (1-of-19) from three-point range. The loss puts Arizona State at 17-16 on the season.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Hurley will be dismissed as the Sun Devils’ head coach after 11 years in Tempe.
