Recruiting Roundup: Taking A Look At Who Could Commit Next To UW Football

by

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Huskies are a couple weeks out from spring football and after a successful junior day where they impressed a ton of top targets I wanted to look at who could potentially jump into the boat sooner rather than later.

3 star offensive tackle Reis Russell from Valor Christian HS, CO has been a frequent visitor to Montlake over the last year. The Huskies have continued to recruit Russell hard, despite offers coming in from Georgia and Oregon recently. Russell, who is rated as the 50th best interior offensive lineman, looks to be a perfect fit for center in college and the Huskies would love to add him to their roster. I would keep an eye out on Russell as I think the Huskies lead by a wide margin, thanks to coach Switzer, and are likely going to land his commitment sooner rather than later IMHO.

4 star composite running back Jeremy Adeyanju from Sandra Day O’Connor HS, AZ is another priority recruit that I believe is close to choosing UW. Running back’s coach Scottie Graham has focused a lot of his attention on Adeyanju so much so that the Huskies have surged to the lead of his recruitment over USC. Adeyanju, who is rated as the 27th best running back in the composite rankings, is a speed back who has flown under the radar until recent offers started pouring in. Listed at 6’0” and around 215 pounds he has good size already and could come in and compete for carries right away. I like where the Huskies sit with Adeyanju and I suspect we could see some a commitment from him sooner rather than later.
