The Oregon Ducks enter the 2026 college football season with high expectations. After a second straight appearance in the College Football Playoff last season, and a total of 14 starters returning for the new year, Dan Lanning and his team have dreams of bringing that elusive national championship to Eugene.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, they’ve got a pretty good shot at it, too. This past week, the sports book released win totals for the Power 4 conferences, setting Oregon’s total at 10.5. This is tied for the third-highest in the nation, only behind the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Texas Tech Red Raiders, who are set at an 11.5 over/under.

The Indiana Hoosiers and Miami Hurricanes are also set at 10.5 wins for the 2026 season.
Looking at Oregon’s upcoming schedule, it’s fair to think that there could be at least one loss on the schedule. However, a second one is worth arguing over. The Ducks’ hardest games will come on the road against the USC Trojans and the Ohio State Buckeyes, and at home against the Michigan Wolverines. Oregon will also play the Boise State Broncos and Washington Huskies at home.
Considering how strong the schedule is, it’s fair to believe that even with a 10-2 record, Oregon will likely find a way back into the CFP once again. Whether or not that will be good enough to get them to the Big Ten Championship game is yet to be seen.
