The Ultimate Fighting Championship‘s featherweight title eliminator is now set following the UFC London weigh-ins, which also featured a fighter missing weight by 8 pounds.
Headlining the UFC’s return to London is a No. 1 contender bout between Movsar Evloev and Lerone Murphy. The winner will be in pole position for a shot at Alexander Volkanovski‘s championship later this year. All other fighters successfully made weight for the 14-fight card, with the glaring exception of Luana Carolina. The Brazilian unprofessionally missed the bantamweight mark by 8 pounds and came in at 144 pounds for her fight against Melissa Mullins, which has been canceled as a result.
The undefeated Evloev is 9-0 inside the promotion. Recent wins over Diego Lopes, Arnold Allen and Aljamain Sterling have cemented him as the current top contender. However, this is the Russian fighter’s first fight since December 2024, so he’ll look to get more active. The 32-year-old weighed 146 pounds on the dot for the main event.
Meanwhile, Murphy (17-0-1) is 9-0-1 inside the Octagon. “The Iceman” is coming off a spectacular spinning back elbow knockout of Aaron Pico. The 34-year-old also holds key wins over Josh Emmett, Dan Ige and Edson Barboza. The British fighter weighed 145 pounds exactly for the five-round fight.
UFC London will stream live on Paramount+. The main card starts at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT, while the prelims kick off at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
