In the next two weeks-ish, I will be ranking each Big Ten team’s best nonconference game.
Quick recap: No, 1 Ohio State at Texas, Sept. 12.
2. Michigan vs. Oklahoma, Sept. 12
3. Wisconsin vs. Notre Dame, Sept 6

4. Michigan State at Notre Dame, Sept. 19.
5. Purdue vs. Notre Dame, Sept. 26.
Dan Lanning’s Ducks are considered among the handful of teams with the best chance to take home the College Football Playoff trophy. The problem for Oregon is that half of them are in the Big Ten, the Ducks joined by Indiana and Ohio State.
Boise State is coming off a meh (for it) 9-5 campaign. The season ended with a blowout bowl loss to Washington.
Boise State welcomes back quarterback Maddox Madsen. The three-year starter will try to surpass a big season. He shouldn’t be freaked out by the Autzen experience.
Quarterback Dante Moore, who wisely returned to Oregon for another season of refinement, will be tested early and often. Oregon travels to Southern California, Illinois and Ohio State. Michigan and Washington visit Eugene.

Lanning’s guys have shown the potential to win the CFP but have fallen short. I’m guessing the team isn’t a bit upset not to see Indiana on the schedule again.
Another guess: they will play for the Big Ten title with the top seed in the CFP on the line.
