Tennessee freshman guard Deniya Prawl entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to former Lady Vol and ESPN basketball analyst Andraya Carter.
“Tennessee Lady Vol freshman guard, Deniya Prawl, has entered the transfer portal,” Carter announced. “Prawl, a 6’2 top-20 class of 2025 recruit and McDonald’s All American, averaged 4.0 points in 15.5 minutes per game this season.”

The 6-foot-2 guard appeared in 29 games, including seven starts, for Tennessee during the 2025-26 season. She averaged four points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.4 assists per game.
Prawl went to Tennessee from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. She is a native of Toronto, Canada.
Prawl committed to the Lady Vols on Nov. 11, 2024 after being offered by Tennessee on June 1, 2024. She committed to Tennessee over Notre Dame and Baylor.
The former Lady Vol also had scholarship offers from UCLA, Louisville, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Duke, South Carolina and Baylor.
Tennessee’s 2025-26 season ended in the NCAA Tournament first round under second-year head coach Kim Caldwell. North Carolina State defeated Tennessee, 76-61, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Lady Vols had a 16-14 (8-8 SEC) record.
