Ronda Rousey seems pleased with how her return card is shaping up.
She wants to bring a new approach as she brings MMA to Netflix, ending a decade away from the sport that made her famous.
In many ways, Rousey is the perfect person to front a new promotion. Her rise was intertwined with the UFC’s growth in popularity, and she played a big part in pushing women’s MMA into the mainstream.

Whenever Ronda Rousey speaks about Most Valuable Promotions’ plans for her next fight, she often takes a jab at the UFC, whether it’s in person or on social media.
The former bantamweight champion has never shied away from voicing her opinions, and this time she’s focused on pointing out areas where she thinks her old organisation could improve.
After the full card for her return was revealed, ‘Rowdy’ once again highlighted several points that have been central to her promotion of this event.

“I know I’m biased but I can’t remember ever seeing a single card more stacked than this in MMA history,” she wrote on Instagram. “This is what happens when fighters come together and bet on themselves – change is coming, we are not expendable -WE ARE THIS BUSINESS!!
“This is a fight card for EVERYONE, not some oligarch shmooze fest (*cough* #whitehousecard *cough!), tickets start at just $68 @intuitdome!!!”
While the UFC White House card features more fighters currently at the top of their game, there’s no denying that MVP has put together an event designed to appeal to a wide audience.
It features big names like herself, Francis Ngannou and Nate Diaz that are sure to draw plenty of attention.

The most encouraging aspect of the announcement though isn’t just the inclusion of veterans whose best days may be behind them.
Additions such as Muhammad Mokaev vs Adriano Moraes and Salahdine Parnasse vs Kenneth Cross provide fans who appreciate high-level matchups with another reason to watch.
