Conor McGregor has alluded to taking positive steps toward his UFC comeback.
McGregor being left off UFC Freedom 250 on June 14 from the White House caused concern, especially after he expressed interest in competing on that card. However, it appears the UFC simply had other plans for its biggest star.

Since breaking his leg during a TKO loss to Dustin Poirier in July 2021, the closest McGregor has come to returning was when he booked a fight with Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in June 2024. However, McGregor withdrew just a month away due to a broken pinky toe and was never rescheduled to fight.
