UFC Seattle takes place at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, on Saturday, March 28, 2026. This marks the UFC’s second consecutive year hosting an event in the Pacific Northwest city.
For the main event, superstar Israel Adesanya steps into the Octagon on Saturday night for the most critical fight of his legendary career. The former two-time middleweight champion, coming off of 3 consecutive losses, will face the surging and heavy-handed Joe “Bodybagz” Pyfer in a fight that could determine the future of the middleweight division.

Adesanya, now 36, enters the contest after a year away from competition. His last three Octagon appearances consist of dropping a decision to Sean Strickland, getting submitted by Dricus Du Plessis, and suffering a TKO loss to Nassourdine Imavov.

Pyfer, meanwhile, represents the new wave of middleweight contenders. The 29-year-old has won three straight fights since his only UFC loss, including a submission victory over Abus Magomedov and a decision over former title challenger Kelvin Gastelum.

Sleeper Fights I am looking Forward To
Welterweight veterans Michael Chiesa and Niko Price will meet in a matchup between two seasoned veterans. Chiesa brings his elite grappling, while Price is known for his durability and willingness to engage in wild exchanges.
Ignacio Bahamondes and Tofiq Musayev will face off in the featured prelim in a lightweight fight between two striking-based, dynamic styles that both utilize flashy kicks and versatile striking techniques.

Bantamweights Ricky Simon and Adrian Yanez also meet on the prelims in a bout that could steal the show. Simon is known for a high-pressure, forward-moving style that utilizes high-level wrestling and jiu-jitsu. It will be interesting to see how it clashes with Yanez’s boxing-heavy style, and whether or not Yanez can keep Simon at bay with signature body punches and hooks.
The 13-fight card features a mix of aging stars and rising prospects, and hopefully will ignite what I believe to be a lackluster year so far of UFC fights.
