The Phoenix guard recently spoke about reports surrounding the agreement and rising player salaries, emphasizing growth and visibility as key points of progress.

“I think that’s a start, that’s a step forward,” Booker said on Saturday, according to Clutch Points’ Hayden Cilley. “I didn’t look into the details of it, but I think I’ve seen A’ja [Wilson’s] new contract over a million, which is important. It’s only been growing since I’ve been in the league. More eyes on it, and that’s a test of the talent [that] just keeps getting better and better. It’s the start of something new.”
