
FORT WORTH, Texas − Unanimous USA Today Sports First Team All-American Hannah Hidalgo is doing it again for Notre Dame women’s basketball, as the 6-seed Irish are hanging in there with 1-seed UConn in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight Sunday, March 29 at Dickies Arena. Catch all the action on ABC, where the junior Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Player and Defensive Player of the Year is holding her own against the 37-0 defending national champions.

What Notre Dame women’s basketball’s Hannah Hidalgo did in 1st half vs UConn
The junior was held scoreless, shooting 0-for-4 from the field, at the end of the first quarter. However, she dropped nine points on 50% shooting in the second period, including a clutch 3-pointer that cut UConn’s lead to just four points at the 4:46 mark.
Hidalgo also had seven rebounds, two assists, one steal and one turnover in the first half. She is Notre Dame’s leading scorer.
