Dorian Olivarez dominates WNO 32 lightweight grand prix, wins vacant title

by

Dorian Olivarez, who won MMA Mania’s 2025 Grappler of the Year award, just added another title to his ever growing resume at WNO 32.

The 20-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) rising star dominated at the WNO lightweight grand prix, and won the promotion’s vacant lightweight title. Olivarez was an absolute buzzsaw once again, putting on incredible pace and pressure as he wore both of his opponents down from top control. He choked out Julian Espinosa in the opening round, then won a decision against Deandre Corbe in the finals, getting dominant position and racking up a lot of ride time against both top notch grapplers.

Corbe impressed against Max Hanson in the opening round, and did have some good moments and nice attempts in the finals, but Olivarez’s constant scrambling and top pressure was just too much.
