For the last couple of years, Tom Aspinall held the UFC record for Shortest Average Fight Time.
As of this writing, Aspinall competes an average of two minutes and 18 seconds per fight, primarily because the reigning heavyweight champion has never gone to a judges’ decision in 19 professional bouts and has only seen the second round three times in his career.

That record has fallen.
Taking over the top spot is unranked UFC lightweight Terrance McKinney. “T-Wrecks” stopped Kyle Nelson in just 24 seconds at UFC Seattle last weekend on Paramount+, giving him a new average fight time of two minutes and 16 seconds — two seconds shorter than Aspinall.

Like Aspinall, McKinney (18-8) has only seen the second round three times under the UFC banner.
The 32 year-old Aspinall (15-3, 1 NC) will have a chance to reclaim the top spot with a quick finish upon his UFC return. That said, we still don’t have a timeline for his 2026 comeback and we probably won’t know his next opponent until the interim title is crowned at UFC White House in June.
