Punjab Kings bowl vs Sunrisers Hyderabad
Punjab Kings‘ skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl on what he deemed a dry surface. Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Ishan Kishan said they would have also preferred to chase, but that it’s now “about playing good cricket in the first innings”.
PBKS made one change in their bowl-first XI, with Priyansh Arya starting ahead of Nehal Wadhera, who is likely to come in as the Impact Player.
Kishan said SRH have made two changes, with Salil Arora and debutant Praful Hinge coming in for Liam Livingstone and Jaydev Unadkat. However, the right-arm quick, Hinge, has been officially named in the Impact Player list for SRH, and he is likely to come on in the second innings.
