One of the top players on the free agency market this offseason was forward Gabby Williams, and sure enough, she’s reportedly narrowed down her choices to potentially contending teams including the Las Vegas Aces, as per Andraya Carter of ESPN.

The other two teams that Gabby Williams is reportedly interested in via free agency this offseason are the Minnesota Lynx and the Golden State Valkyries. The Lynx could be a contender once Napheesa Collier gets healthy and depending what other moves they make, and the Valkyries are looking to take the next step following a highly successful inaugural season.

Williams is the type of player that can ultimately put a team into legit contender status. The No. 4 overall pick in the 2018 WNBA Draft, she’s coming off her first career All-Star selection. She’s played the past four seasons with the Seattle Storm, and turned in her best year yet.

Williams appeared in all 44 games last season at a little over 31 minutes per game. She averaged a career-high 11.6 points, 4.3 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 2.3 steals with splits of 42.2 percent shooting from the field, 30.5 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 85.3 percent shooting from the free-throw line. She was also selected to the All-Defensive First Team, and finished third in the Defensive Player of the Year voting.

She began her WNBA career with the Chicago Sky where she played for three seasons before the team suspended her contract and traded her to the Los Angeles Sparks amid her commitment to the French national team for the Tokyo Olympics.

She never played for the Sparks as the team traded her to the Storm once her contract suspension status was lifted.
