The Philadelphia 76ers star VJ Edgecombe admitted he’s starting to feel worn down after completing his first full NBA season, telling Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer, “I’ve never been so tired in my life.”

Still, he made it clear that fatigue won’t hold him back, adding, “but I’m ready for the next game.”

Edgecombe explained that it feels like he’s been in nonstop basketball mode since the pre-draft process began nearly a year ago.

While the physical toll has been noticeable, he stressed that his mindset remains strong and focused.

“I think I’m built for it,” he said. “I just want to continue to grow with my teammates. I just want us to continue growing our chemistry.

” … Obviously, I’m tired, but there’s always a ‘but.’ I’m ready to hoop. I’m ready to go out there and leave it on the floor any given night.”
