There were few debuts this past Saturday afternoon more anticipated at Alabama‘s “A-Day” spring scrimmage than that of wide receiver Noah Rogers.
A transfer from NC State, Rogers was one-of-many new faces who took the field Saturday in Tuscaloosa during the scrimmage, but the Crimson Tide‘s newest wide receiver however saw his day cut short as the result of an injury.

Following the scrimmage, Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer provided an update on the injury status of Rogers, a storyline that will likely need to be monitored entering the summer months, as well as eventually fall camp.
“We’ll have to get him evaluated,” DeBoer said. “Unfortunate with him getting dinged up. We’ll kind of see what that looks like. He will go get the MRI’s and all of that kind of stuff and see what happens. We’ll have more information here as we go through the spring and summer.”
Rogers transferred to Alabama earlier this offseason following two seasons at NC State. With the Wolfpack, Rogers hauled in a combined 68 receptions for 919 yards and three touchdowns, and is expected to play a significant role for the Crimson Tide this upcoming season.
Spring practice for the Crimson Tide officially came to an end Saturday, meaning the next time we will see Alabama back in action is in August for the start of fall camp.
