Raiders roster 2026: The current wide receiver room

by

Let’s look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ wide receiver position group looks:

Top options:

Tre Tucker:

The fourth-year player has been a starter for the past season and a half. Yet, he hasn’t produced consistently for a starter, so it might be best that he has more of a reduced role, but still be able to showcase his blazing speed. New Raiders’ coach Klint Kubiak has praised Tucker for his work ethic, so he will certainly have a role.

Jalen Nailor:

The Raiders gave him a three-year, $35 million deal in the opening hours of free agency. The former No. 3 receiver in Minnesota has fans in the league and he will get a chance to produce well in Las Vegas. But he has to prove he can. Nailor, who spent two seasons in Minnesota with new Raiders’ quarterback Kirk Cousins, has a career high for receptions in just 29.

Jack Bech:

The 2025 second-round pick had an uneven rookie season. He went stretches without playing much, but his play time did increase at the end of the season. He flashed and there is hope he can take stpep in Kubiak’s offense, but he still has to prove himself.

Dont’e Thornton:

There was high hopes for the 2025 fourth-round pick. The previous coaching staff gave him a lot of chances early, but he failed to take advantage. He is still very raw despite having natural skills. There is some concern he may not be a great fit for Kubiak’s offense. He needs to have a big preseason.

Dareke Young:

Kubiak brought Young to las Vegas from Seattle with him. Young is more of a special teamer, but Kubiak has flashed his receiving abilities. He will get a chance on offense now and again.

Shedrick Jackson:

He’s an interesting holdover, but was mostly on the practice squad. He will get a look in training camp and should have a role in the program whether its on the 53-man roster or on the practice squad in 2026.

Also on roster:

Phillip Dorsett, Brendan Rice, Justin Shorter

Conclusion:

The Raiders are visiting with several wide-receiver draft prospects. Expect them to take a player at the position fairly early perhaps as soon as No. 36. The Raiders will need Tucker, Nailor and Bech all produce as there is currently no standout No. 1 receiver in the mix.
