Conor McGregor and Artem Lobov were once training partners and the closest of friends. But that was a long time ago. In recent years the two have been on opposite sides of a legal battle over McGregor’s Proper No. Twelve Irish whiskey company.
Lobov alleged he and McGregor had a handshake deal where Lobov was promised a 5 percent share of the company. McGregor maintained there was never a deal. On Wednesday, the two reached a settle in the case according to The Irish Times.

Though his legal counsel, Mark Lynam, McGregor indicated that he was happy the lawsuit was resolved. McGregor thanked Lobov “for his hard work for my whiskey business”, Lynam said.
The details of the agreement were not disclosed, although Lobov said he was happy with the outcome leaving the court.
