Colorado football and Deion Sanders are extending offers left and right as they look to build a formidable class of 2027 around recent four-star quarterback commit Andre Adams.
One of those recent offers was to four-star cornerback Tavares Harrington, an elite top 150 player from Chicago, Illinois. The 6-foot-3 corner ranks as the No. 123 overall player in the 2027 class, the No. 15 cornerback and the No. 7 player from Illinois.

Harrington, a blue-chip prospect, holds offers from several blue-blood programs, including Georgia, Alabama, Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State, all of which are among a group of 43 schools.
Notre Dame is the heavy favorite to land Harrington, with On3 giving the Fighting Irish a 78.1% chance to land the star cornerback, with Alabama (4.5%), Nebraska (2.6%), and Ole Miss (2.2%) rounding out his other likeliest destinations.
Colorado obviously has a significant hill to climb to earn Harrington’s commitment, given the many high-profile offers. But given Deion Sanders’ propensity for making a big recruiting splash at least once during a recruiting cycle, it is never smart to count Colorado out. Harrington, a top-tier cornerback, definitely makes the Buffs an even more intriguing program, given that a Hall of Fame cornerback is the head coach.
