Adrian Luna Martinetti hopes to make UFC history, along with his brother.
It’s not often you see siblings in UFC, and even less twins. In fact, there’s only been one pair, the Nogueira brothers โ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Antonio Rogeiro Nogueira. Adrian is hoping to be the second pair, along with his brother Andres. Adrian (17-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC) dreams of seeing his twin brother Andres (16-1) make it to the big leagues and sign with the UFC. He feels Andres is on the cusp of making that a reality, and expects this to be his year.

“I want both of us to be in the UFC and have that history of twin brothers being in the UFC,” Adrian told Hablemos MMA in Spanish.
Andres is one of the best Latin American fighters outside the UFC. He has a 16-1 record and trains alongside Adrian at Entram Gym in Tijuana, Mexico. Andres had his opportunity to get a UFC contract in 2022, but unfortunately came up short in a split decision against Alessandro Costa, who’s currently thriving in the UFC’s flyweight division.
The two brothers have been very close throughout their careers, from being each other’s main training partners to immigrating from Ecuador to Mexico in pursuit of their UFC dream. For Adrian, it would mean a great deal to see Andres in the octagon.
“It would mean everything, everything,” Adrian explained. “I don’t have words to describe it. I’m not great with words, but I can say it’s a dream of mine, and it would mean the world to me. In fact, I can say that seeing him in the UFC would be bigger than me winning a UFC title.”
