Recruiting Roundup: A Top 2027 Wideout Visits UW & Other Notes

by

Happy Sunday Husky fans. The Dawgs are about to wrap up their spring practices in a week, and shortly thereafter we will head into official visit season for the Huskies. This week the Dawgs saw a couple of higher profile recruits head to campus.

4 star wide receiver Tre Moore from Pflugerville Weiss HS, TX made his way up to Montlake to check out the Huskies practice midweek. Moore, who is rated as the 22nd best wide receiver int he country by 247sports, is a bigger wideout with a 6’3” and 200 pound frame. The Huskies are set to host him for an official visit in June and they are battling Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU for his commitment. Getting him up on campus for an unofficial visit is a good sign for the Huskies, but they will need to continue to push for him and make sure they can hold him off from committing through all of his official visits. If that happens I like UW’s chances as wide receiver’s coach Kevin Cummings has built a really good relationship with Moore and his family. Last season he had 85 receptions for 1,443 yards and 19 TD’s.
