The Lady Vols filled their final spot for next year’s roster on Thursday, completing the wild rebuild after having no roster just weeks ago.
It’s been quite a month for the Tennessee Lady Vols. The entire returning roster decided to leave via the transfer portal. Incoming five-star signee Oliviyah Edwards asked out of her letter of intent, ultimately signing with South Carolina. There was nowhere for the program to go but up.

But up they went. Kim Caldwell used the portal that worked against her and managed to pull together a collection of talent from around the country to rebuild the program.
The final addition came on Thursday, when West Virginia forward Riley Makalusky announced on her Twitter (X) account that she’d committed to Tennessee.
Lady Vols land commitment from West Virginia forward Riley Makalusky
Makalusky is a 6-2 forward from Fishers, Indiana. She started off her career at Butler, where she made the All-Big East freshman team in 2023-24, where she averaged 6.7 points per game and 46.1% from three (36-77). She averaged 8.1 ppg the following season for the Bulldogs with a season high 16 points against Georgetown.

Last year for West Virginia, she averaged 4.4 points per game, but she was again good from deep with a 43.2% three point mark (35-81). So Caldwell is getting a player who has both good length and a good track record of knocking down the three ball.
Lady Vols’ 2026-27 roster is now set
With Makalusky’s commitment, the Lady Vols’ roster is now up to 15 players and complete. Here is the team for next season:
-

-
