The Gonzaga Bulldogs have scheduled coach Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils for Feb. 20, 2027, at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan. Yes, this high-level out-of-conference matchup for Gonzaga will take place in the thick of Pac-12 Conference play.
In their all-time history, Duke leads the series 4-1. The sixth meeting will be aired exclusively on Amazon Prime Video. The deal hasn’t been finalized and signed, but CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander reports that Gonzaga will make north of $500,000 for playing against Duke. The tip-off time and ticket information will be announced at a later date.
Here is how Gonzaga’s potential 2026-27 non-conference schedule looks, with not all dates/locations/times finalized:

The matchups with the Big Ten Conference’s UCLA Bruins and Oregon Ducks are on the fence, either taking place in the 2026-27 or 2027-28 season. UCLA would be the first game of their renewed two-year neutral site series, and Oregon the second game of their two-year neutral site series.

This slate is a gauntlet of a schedule, arguably shaping up to be the toughest that coach Mark Few has ever put together. That’s to go along with the Pac-12 series against the Utah State Aggies, San Diego State Aztecs, Colorado State Rams, coach Leon Rice’s Boise State Broncos, even the revamped Oregon State Beavers under first-year coach Justin Joyner.
Few has never been afraid to play anyone, anywhere, anytime.
