Chase Elliott picked up his 23rd career win in the NASCAR Texas race on May 3.

It was Elliott’s second in the last five races. The driver of the No. 9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet also won at Darlington on March 29.

Elliott led for a race-high 87 laps, followed by part-time Cup driver Coery Heim at 69 in the Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway.

Denny Hamlin finished second, Alex Bowman was third, Tyler Reddick, winner of five Cup races in 2026, was fourth, and Chris Buescher, who is from Prosper, Texas, was fifth.
