
This is the 2026 offseason tracker for the Monmouth women’s basketball team.
Follow along here for news transfer announcements and recruiting news after a fairly successful season.
This past season, the Hawks finished the season with a 21-12 record and made a second round appearance in the WNIT. For the first time since 2012, Monmouth won 11 home games on the season. Cait Wetmore finished her second season as head coach.

May 4: Monmouth signs Delaware transfer Kailah Correa
Monmouth signed 5-foot-4 guard Kailah Correa after spending her freshman year with the University of Delaware. Last season, the Lebanon, Pennsylvania native averaged 9.8 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists a game.
May 2: Monmouth signs Bethune-Cookman transfer Sanai Tyler
Monmouth signed 6-foot forward Sanai Tyler after spending her junior season with HBCU’s Bethune-Cookman in Florida. Last season, she averaged 5.3 points and 6.5 rebounds a game.
April 29: Monmouth signs Cal Poly transfer Vanessa McManus
The Hawks announced that 5-foot-7 guard Vanessa McManus has committed to Monmouth. The Staten Island native averaged 15.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for Cal Poly last season as a sophomore. She was the fifth top scorer in the Big West Conference.

April 19: Gigi Gamble says she’s staying at Monmouth
After planning to enter the transfer portal, Gigi Gamble announced via social media that she’s staying at Monmouth her senior year. The 5-5 transfer guard from Somerset, New Jersey averaged 15.2 points and 1.1 steals this past season. She also was selected first team All-CAA in her first season at West Long Branch.
