MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. – For the first time in a very long time, Ronda Rousey and Gina Carano are stepping on the scale before an MMA fight.
MMA Junkie will be on scene and reporting live from Friday mornings MVP MMA 1 official weigh-ins ahead of Saturday’s event. Stepping on the scale will be Rousey and Carano, who will look to come in under the 146-pound featherweight limit. It’s been nearly 10 years since Rousey last weighed in for a fight and even longer for Carano almost 17 years ago.

Also stepping on the scale will be Nate Diaz and Mike Perry for their welterweight co-headliner, as well as Francis Ngannou and Philipe Lins for their heavyweight “third” main event.
Official weigh-ins take place at the host hotel and precede the ceremonial weigh-ins for the fans set to begin at 9 p.m. ET from outside Intuit Dome in Inglewood, which hosts Saturday’s event.
