The San Antonio Spurs rookie was shown on the NBC broadcast walking into the locker room after he fell to the court while wrestling a rebound from Chet Holmgren, who was called for a foul on the play, and then went to the locker room. He trotted out of the tunnel, NBC reported, because someone thought the Spurs were in the bonus and he was needed to shoot free throws. But he was redirected back to the locker room for further evaluation and never returned.

Just a few playes earlier, he landed awkwardly while attempting a layup that was swatted by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He grabbed his right hamstring and grimaced in pain.

According to the Spurs, Harper suffered a “right leg” injury.

The Oklahoma City Thunder also have a player dealing with a hamstring issue. Jalen Williams seemed to reaggravate his left hamstring and left the matchup in the first quarter.
