Ahead of the highly anticipated clash against Fenerbahce Beko, Sasha Vezenkov spoke about the key factors for the game, the team’s chemistry and the atmosphere he expects in the Telekom Center Athens (OAKA) arena.
In the EuroLeague Final Four semifinal between Olympiacos and Fenerbahce, Sasha Vezenkov thinks that the team that will “throw the first punch” will beat the opponent.
“I think the tempo and the rebounds will be crucial. It’s about who wants it more, who will push the tempo and who will throw the first punch. That’s their style, that’s what they are good at, and we need to match their physicality. We have great chemistry, everybody understands their role and everybody is ready to give whatever it takes to win tomorrow’s game”, said Vezenkov who is happy that his team will have fans in Telekom Center Athens (OAKA) arena for the first time since 2019.
“It’s going to feel a little different because against Panathinaikos we played here with only Panathinaikos fans in the stands, while against Fenerbahce it will be completely different. We want our fans by our side and we will give everything for them and for ourselves.”
