Michigan State football has extended an offer to a Colorado tight end prospect that is already scheduled to take an official visit next month.
Ryan Pankey of Montrose, Colo. announced on Saturday that he’s received an offer from the Spartans. He made the offer from Michigan State known by posting on his social media X account.

Pankey is listed as a three-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 85 in 247Sports’ system. He is ranked as the No. 112 athlete and No. 7 player from Colorado in the 2027 class.
Michigan State is now one of nearly 15 schools to extend an offer to Pankey, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Oregon State, Washington State, Colorado State, Kent State, San Diego State, New Mexico State, UNLV, Wyoming and some lower-division schools as well.
It was reported earlier this week that Pankey will be taking an official visit to Michigan State on June 5. So, it should come as no surprise that he has also picked up an offer from the Spartans ahead of his upcoming official visit. It would appear Michigan State is the leader in his recruitment, with no other reported official visits on the books yet for Pankey.
