The Miami Heat have a framework for a Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, and it starts with the No. 13 overall pick.
NBA insider Evan Sidery suggest that Miami could offer Tyler Herro, Kel’el Ware, Nikola Jovic, No. 13 overall, and future first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 as part of its latest package for the Milwaukee Bucks star.
That proposal matches the logic of a team trying to win now while still giving Milwaukee a reset point. The Bucks are reportedly intrigued by owning two lottery picks in a loaded draft, which would give them both immediate talent and long-term flexibility if they move on from their franchise player.
Antetokounmpo is set to enter the second year of his three-year, $175 million deal, with a player option for the final season. At 31, he remains one of the league’s most dominant regular-season forces, averaging 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.4 assists in 36 games this season.
For Miami, Herro is the centerpiece of the scoring side of the deal. He averaged 20.5 points and 4.1 assists in 33 games, while shooting 48.0% from the field and 37.8% from three, giving the Bucks a proven guard who can create offense and stretch the floor.
Ware is the most intriguing upside piece in the package. The 21-year-old center averaged 11.1 points and 9.0 rebounds while shooting 53.0% overall and 39.5% from three, numbers that suggest a developing big man with both rim protection and long-term value.
Jovic adds another layer because of his size and passing ability. He averaged 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 47 games, and while he has not fully broken through yet, his age and skill set fit the kind of developmental swing a team would want in a blockbuster rebuild.
The draft assets matter just as much as the players. A lottery pick in a strong class, plus future firsts in 2031 and 2033, gives Milwaukee multiple chances to reload around a new core instead of waiting for a one-for-one star replacement.
Antetokounmpo is currently most intrigued by Miami or Boston, which keeps the Heat firmly in the conversation if the Bucks decide to move him on draft night.
