Auburn football has locked in an official visit with a towering 2027 offensive lineman from the state of Mississippi.

DJ Dotson, a 6-foot-7, 320-pound offensive tackle from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, has scheduled a June official visit to the Plains. He will visit Auburn during the weekend of June 19, his final scheduled official visit of the summer. He will also visit SEC rivals Ole Miss and LSU, as well as Georgia Tech, before concluding his tour in Auburn.

In a recent interview with Rivals’ Chad Simmons, Dotson shared that he has developed a strong relationship with Auburn offensive line coach Tyler Hudanick and offensive analyst Chris Kapilovic, and feels the new changes installed by Alex Golesh will take the Tigers to new heights.

Dotson is a three-star offensive tackle, ranked No. 72 nationally and No. 26 from Mississippi in the 2026 recruiting cycle. His recruitment remains wide open as neither team in the mix has over a 38% chance to land him, which could lead to an interesting and entertaining journey before he ultimately signs.
