The Georgia Bulldogs finally seem to be getting some recruiting momentum. They earned two commitments from recruits on Sunday, May 31, 2026. One of them was three-star offensive tackle D.J. Dotson, who chose Georgia over LSU and Georgia Tech, according to Hayes Fawcett.
Dotson is a three-star OT from the class of 2027. The 6-foot-7, 330-pound offensive lineman plays high school football for Oak Grove High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He is the No. 72 OT prospect from the class of 2027.

Georgia has loaded up on offensive tackle talent throughout this recruiting class. Besides Dotson, they’ve earned commitments from four-star Kelsey Adams, along with three-stars Ty Johnson and Abram Eisenhower.
Regardless, this class is far from the top 10 classes Georgia is used to. The Bulldogs have the No. 26 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports. Rivals views their class more favorably, ranking them No. 23, but there are just 10 players in this class. There’s plenty of time to rectify this situation, but June will be a big month for Georgia.
