Italy’s Elisa Roner produced a standout finish in the compound women’s final, edging defending champion Meeri-Marita Paas of Estonia by a single point. Both archers were level through much of the match before Roner sealed victory with a perfect final end, while Paas dropped a crucial point with a nine.
Croatia’s Amanda Mlinaric secured compound women’s bronze after a tight win over compatriot Ivana Mavračić.
In team competition, Italy secured men’s gold, with Slovenia taking silver and Hungary bronze. Croatia won the women’s team title ahead of Italy and Kazakhstan. Italy also claimed compound mixed team gold ahead of Austria and Croatia.
The finals concluded a competitive edition of the Veronica’s Cup, with titles awarded across recurve and compound disciplines.
