Michigan State basketball will boast the top returning player in college basketball next season, according to one popular social media account.
College Basketball Report — a social media X account with more than 100,000 followers — released a list of their top returning players for next season and a Spartan is listed right at the top. According to College Basketball Report, Jeremy Fears Jr. was No. 1 of a list of top 60 returning players.

Fears was the lone Spartan included in College Basketball Report’s list, with Coen Carr surprisingly not making the cut of top 60 players.
Fears announced late last month that he would return for another season at Michigan State, and has instantly became one of the top players in college basketball. He is coming off an All-American season where he averaged 15.2 points and 9.4 assists per game. With Fears back, Michigan State is considered a preseason top 10 team and a national championship contender.
