In the promotion’s most recent trip to Paris at UFC Fight Night 258, Nassourdine Imavov defeated Caio Borralho in the main event to emerge as a top middleweight contender. In the co-main event, Benoit Saint Denis handed Mauricio Ruffy his lone octagon loss when he submitted him in a dominant performance.
Two of France’s top UFC stars will compete in the coming months. Ciryl Gane meets Alex Pereira for the interim heavyweight title in Sunday’s UFC Freedom 250 co-headliner at the White House in Washington. Meanwhile, Saint Denis meets Paddy Pimblett in the UFC 329 co-main event on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
