A’ja Wilson keeps rewriting the record books with every dominant performance. On Monday, the four-time MVP added another career milestone as the Las Vegas Aces defeated the Seattle Storm 101-91.
The Michelob ULTRA Arena roared as Wilson joined rare company with her incredible stat line, and it did not take too long for the WNBA world to catch up and celebrate her feat.

A’ja Wilson’s Historic Run Continues With 6,000 Career Points
Aces center Wilson became the fastest and youngest player in the league to reach 6,000 career points on Monday. She hit the milestone in her 278th career game and in her ninth season in the league.
Former Phoenix Mercury guard Diana Taurasi, who is also the league’s all-time leading scorer (10,646 points), reached this milestone in 291 games.
Wilson scored 34 points toreach the mark, along with 12 rebounds and 9 assists, going 10-of-19 from the field. Her career total now stands at 6,004.
Social media flooded with reactions to celebrate this dominant streak, as one user wrote, “Although Candace Parker is my GOAT, Aja most definitely has earned a Co-GOAT bc she’s literally HER. 1 of 1.”
Another user kept it simple by sharing a “GOAT” emoji to celebrate Wilson.
Wilson’s performance ignited the MVP case once again, as a user posted, “I know some of y’all don’t like her, but A’ja Wilson is probably gonna win MVP again barring the Aces collapsing or god forbid injury. Her PR in WNBA media means she probably won’t be a victim of voter fatigue either. Sorry y’all.”
And then one user compared Wilson’s brilliance to that of San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama.

The Frenchman’s 32-point performance led the Spurs to a Game 3 win over the New York Knicks in the NBA Finals the same night.
“She outplayed Wemby,” the user asserted.
This feat is another reminder that the 29-year-old doesn’t shy away from making history nearly every time she steps on the court.
“I’m just grateful to be able to do what I do with the people I love,” Wilson said. “I’ve seen so many different defenses, different schemes. But we still show up every single day, ready to work and ready to be great. I’m just truly grateful for every teammate I’ve ever played with.”

It’s hard to keep up with the accolades Wilson has achieved since being drafted No. 1 overall in 2018. She does not fail to impress her coach, Becky Hammon, who believes there’s still more to come for her.
“It feels like she’s breaking a record every day. So you start to lose track of them. Nothing surprises me anymore… She continues to get better and better,” Hammon said. “As far as how many records she’ll break? I have no idea. A lot. A lot when it’s all said and done.”
The Aces have surged to an 8-3 start in the league after defeating the Storm, and will travel to Moda Center to face the Portland Fire on June 11.
