Anadolu Efes S.K. has officially announced the departure of guard Saben Lee, who is now widely expected to continue his career with Zalgiris Kaunas.
Efes confirmed the move in a statement, expressing appreciation for Lee’s contributions during his time with the club.
“We thank him for his contributions to our club and wish him success in the next chapter of his career.”
Lee is reportedly close to completing a two-year agreement with Zalgiris after productive negotiations between the two sides.
The 26-year-old began the 2025-26 season with Olympiacos B.C., but struggled to secure a consistent role and left the team midway through the campaign.
He quickly found a larger opportunity with Efes and became an important part of the club’s backcourt rotation.
During 16 EuroLeague games with Efes, Lee averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 assists, and 1.7 rebounds while providing a scoring boost and additional playmaking during the second half of the season.
