Atlanta Dream forward Angel Reese was trying to post up in the lane when she was taken down by Toronto Tempo forward Isabelle Harrison, who was subsequently ejected from the WNBA game Sunday, June 14 at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto.
Harrison, who was assessed with Flagrant 2 after referees reviewed the play, had been jawing with Reese the entire game. It appeared to come to head at 6:05 of the third quarter with the tackle in the key. Reese got up and her teammates pulled her away. She appeared to be fighting back tears.

Harrison had been the Tempo’s leading scorer before she got tossed, with 17 points. Reese posted a 15-point, 17-rebound double-double as the Dream beat the Tempo 102-77. Allisha Gray had 26 points and seven assists for the Dream. Rhyne Howard added 24 points and three blocks.
Harrison and Reese were teammates in 2024 with the Chicago Sky. Reese, who was traded to the Dream from the Sky this offseason, is averaging a double-double.
Harrison has been in the league for 12 seasons and made her season debut last week after dealing with thumb injury.
