Josh Berry will be looking for a new home in NASCAR for next season. Berry will not return to the No. 21 car for Wood Brothers Racing during the 2027 NASCAR Cup Series season, the team announced. The driver of the No. 21 car sits 30th in the point standings after 16 points races in 2026.

Berry joined Wood Brothers Racing starting in 2025, quickly finding success for his first Cup Series win at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in March. The Wood Brothers Racing driver made the NASCAR playoffs but was eliminated in the round of 16 after a disastrous three-race stretch.

Now, Berry is looking for a new home as Wood Brothers Racing looks to go in a different direction. The No. 21 team has struggled throughout the 2026 NASCAR season, as Ford is not on the same level as Toyota and Chevrolet. Berry will now be searching for a new ride, and it may not come in the Cup Series.
