Caitlin Clark, Indiana Fever vs Toronto Tempo: Channel, time, how to watch

The Indiana Fever will try to extend their win streak on Tuesday against the Toronto Tempo.

The Fever are set to host the Tempo at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Indiana is currently on a three-game win streak, despite surrendering double-digit leads in each matchup.

The Fever held on to defeat the Washington Mystics 78-76 on June 8 on Caitlin Clark’s buzzer-beating 3-pointer after surrendering a 17-point lead in the fourth quarter. The Fever had a 19-point lead over the Sky on June 11, but Chicago was able to close the gap and force overtime before the Fever ran pulled away with 114-106 win. Similarly, the Fever coughed up an 11-point lead against the Connecticut Sun on June 13, before winning 85-75.

When asked what has led to Fever’s troubling trend, Kelsey Mitchell pointed to fouling. The Fever lead the league in fouls per game with an average of 23.9 fouls per game.

“A lot of it, you get a little comfortable, but I think… discipline,” said Mitchell, who is averaging 20.3 points per game. “Not fouling people and sending them to the line. I think that’s the big for us… that’s one our Achilles’ heel right now. That’s just kind of (letting) people back in the game.”

Like Mitchell, Clark is also averaging 20.3 points per game, in addition to 7.8 assists. Clark (back) is listed as probable for Tuesday’s matchup, while Raven Johnson (left ankle) is questionable.
