Arman Tsarukyan doesn’t think Michael Chandler belongs in the UFC anymore.
Chandler (23-11 MMA, 2-6 UFC) suffered his fourth straight loss when he was knocked out by Mauricio Ruffy on Sunday at UFC Freedom 250 from the White House in Washington DC. Chandler, a former UFC title challenger and Bellator champ, now has been stopped in three of his past four fights and hasn’t secured a win since knocking out Tony Ferguson in May 2022.

“How they let Michael Chandler fight?” Tsarukyan said on “The Ariel Helwani Show.” “Please cut him. Just fire him. Tell UFC they’ve got to fire him. Yeah, because he is losing all of his fights.”
Tsarukyan (23-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC), who is eyeing a shot at newly crowned lightweight champion Justin Gaethje, admits Chandler’s shape is impressive at this point of his career.
“To have this physique at 40 years old is something crazy, you know,” Tsarukyan said. “I would like to have the same body when I’m going to be 40. He trains probably twice a day everyday. He has no chin anymore unfortunately. That’s why you have to leave in the right moment.”
