Where is Ohio State in average CFB score differential since 2021?

by

There’s little argument that Ohio State has been the most consistent college football program over the years, and not much has changed since Ryan Day took over from Urban Meyer. In fact, the Buckeyes have yet to lose more than two games under Day since he became head coach in 2019.

But how does that stack up with other programs, namely the blue bloods like Alabama, Georgia, and Notre Dame? Tom Fornelli of CBS Sports recently posted the top ten average scoring differentials in college football since 2021, and you might be surprised to learn that Ohio State tops all programs with an average 22.52 scoring margin during that time.

I mean, we know there’s been a lot of lopsided wins by the Buckeyes since then, but with the slower pace of play and the hesitancy of Day to run up scores, it might be a bit surprising that the colors of Scarlet and Gray take the cake. But who else is behind OSU and in the top ten? Here’s the complete list of biggest scoring margins in college football since 2021.
