Many people (especially Cincinnati Bengals fans) think Ja’Marr Chase is the best wide receiver in the NFL. He has been dominant since his first game in 2021, and he appears to be showing no sign of decline.
In fact, it appears he is just getting better and entering his prime.

Don’t take it from Bengals fans alone. On his podcast, NFL analyst Sam Monson detailed why Chase is the undisputed WR1 in the NFL.
“He’s just the best composite. He’s the classic No. 1 wide receiver who can win at all levels in all ways and terrifies defenses just by stepping onto the field. I don’t think there’s anyone else in the NFL who is quite the same in that regard,” Monson said.
Bengals fans have been spoiled with great wide receivers over the years. The names Isaac Curtis and Carl Pickens show the deep history, while memories of Chad Johnson and A.J. Green are still fresh in younger fans’ minds. Chase is not only already in that same class, but he also appears poised to surpass them all in virtually every statistical category.
Chase is the next in a long line of great Bengal wideouts, but he appears to be something we’ve never seen before.
