Michigan State basketball is sitting right outside the top five in the latest preseason poll from one notable national analyst.
Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports has released another batch of early rankings for next season, with the Spartans continuing to remain as a top 10 team. In Rothstein’s latest rankings, the Spartans came in at No. 6 in the country.

Michigan State is ranked only behind Florida (No. 1), Duke (No. 2), Illinois (No. 3), Michigan (No. 4) and UConn (No. 5). The Spartans have been listed in the top 10 nationally throughout the season, with a mixture of these same five teams either landing right above or behind Michigan State.
