PHOENIX — DeWanna Bonner reached another milestone in her decorated WNBA career Tuesday night, surpassing 8,000 career points during the Phoenix Mercury’s matchup against the Chicago Sky.
Bonner entered the game needing seven more points to reach the mark and became one of only three players in league history to cross the 8,000-point threshold, joining Mercury legend Diana Taurasi and Tina Charles. The accomplishment adds another chapter to a career defined by consistency, longevity and production on both ends of the court.

Against the Sky, Bonner finished with 12 points, seven rebounds and one assist while shooting 50% from the field.
