Four-star recruit NaVorro Bowman Jr. is one of the top players in the 2027 recruiting class. He’s drawing interest from several programs as he’s now participating in the EYBL event in Las Vegas this week. And before the action starts, he caught up with 247Sports’ Travis Branham where he revealed that he’s in talks with setting up a visit with North Carolina.

Here is what Bowman Jr. had to say about the Tar Heels:

North Carolina: “Mike Malone texts me. He was an NBA coach, so he knows what he’s talking about. I’m sure he’s going to have a great season. It just means everything that he’s recruiting me and talking to me.”

Bowman Jr. also revealed that programs like Kentucky, Arizona, and Illinois, among others, are also in pursuit of the talented point guard.

The 6-foot-3, 180-pound point guard hails from Sherman Oaks, California and is ranked No. 21 nationally, No. 6 point guard and No. 1 player in the state of California per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
