It was just earlier in the week when the Aces picked up the 6-foot-4 forward after the Indiana Fever. Pissott was hot from deep, hitting five 3-pointers in just 10 minutes on the floor, setting a record for most made 3’s in a WNBA debut. She hit a total seven shots from the field and finished with 19 points. The only player to score more was four-time MVP A’ja Wilson who had 21 points.

Pissott was never listed active during her tenure with the Fever in the regular season, in part due to injuries.

Pissott played at Red Bank Catholic for Joe Montano and was a McDonald’s All-American her senior year. She went on to play a season at Tennessee before transferring to Vanderbilt. She spent three seasons with the Commodores and this past season averaged a career-high 11.1 points a game – she helped Vandy become a nationally ranked team.
