Former LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese was absent for the Atlanta Dream in its game against the Portland Fire on Saturday. In the 102-92 loss, the Dream missed its leader in the paint.
Reese was listed as questionable on the WNBA’s official injury report on Saturday with a left leg injury. With 1:19 left in regulation, she exited the Dream’s game against the Seattle Storm on Thursday with a noticeable limp. She pulled down 11 rebounds and scored 18 points.

It is unclear when Reese might make a return to the lineup. The Dream just broke its five-game losing streak with a win against the Storm on Thursday and wants to avoid a similar skid as the middle of the season approaches. It may have to play without its All-Star forward.
Reese averages 15 points and a WNBA-best 11.7 rebounds per game. She has 11 double-doubles so far in 2026, her first year with the Dream. The former Tiger got drafted by the Chicago Sky at No. 7 overall in 2024, then got traded to the Dream ahead of this season.
