Jan Blachowicz will now take on a rising undefeated contender at UFC Fight Night 283.
Blachowicz was scheduled to rematch Bogdan Guskov on Aug. 1 at Belgrade Arena in Serbia (Paramount+), but Guskov was pulled to replace Khalil Rountree against Magomed Ankalaev in the UFC Fight Night 282 headliner on July 25 in Abu Dhabi. Instead, Blachowicz will now face Navajo Stirling, promotion officials announced Friday morning.
Blachowicz (29-11-2 MMA, 12-8-2 UFC) is winless in his past four fights. He is coming off a majority draw against Guskov at UFC 323 this past December. The former UFC light heavyweight champion hasn’t won a bout since stopping Aleksandar Rakic by TKO due to injury in May 2022.
